September 15th, 2017 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Paradise Point Resort & Spa
Sunset Rooms III-IV
CE Units: 1
Keynote speakers:
Dr. Sashi Nallapati

Lecture Overview:

Comprehensive dental treatment is often inter-disciplinary in nature. However, the traditional role of the endodontist has been limited to prescription based endodontic treatment, with little involvement in treatment planning or decision-making. Dr. Nallipatti works closely with other dental specialists and will discuss why the role of the endodontic specialist should be redefined. He will show how advanced technologies, particularly CBCT, have empowered the endodontist to contribute more to comprehensive treatment planning, whether it is rehabilitation of a single tooth or the full dentition. This case-based presentation highlights the use of CBCT in inter-disciplinary treatment planning in his practice, including the management of complex clinical scenarios, with many long-term follow-ups.

Objectives
